Dr. Egge is thrilled to bring the Parkside dedication to service and overall excellence of care to Spartanburg! He has been a pediatrician for over 15 years! Dr. Egge felt pediatrics was the one area of medicine where he could use all the talents God gave him! He met his wife during training (she is also a pediatrician), so it is safe to say that Pediatrics is the best thing to happen to him. Read More
You will usually see Dr. Egge outside working in his yard, playing golf, or practicing new magic tricks on the weekends. He is loving this chapter in his life- watching in amazement as his 11 and 13 year old children mature. They love their job of keeping him grounded and humble. Like their Dad, both children love theatre and play musical instruments. They read voraciously, thanks to their reads-several-books-per-week mom. Dr. Egge also does a couple plays each year with Spartanburg Little Theatre as well as playing Drosselmeyer each year in Ballet Spartanburg’s Nutcracker. Christmas is always the favorite holiday, because it involves presents and usually brings a lot of family together. His favorite children’s books include most of the Dr. Seuss collection.
His favorite bible verse is Deuteronomy 32:4- “He is the Rock; His deeds are perfect…” because it speaks to the sovereignty of God.
